On Wednesday 13 june,2012, Dunya T.V. show a special live interview of Malik Riaz. The hosts of this program were Mubasher Lucman and Meher Bukhari, while Malik Riaz the owner of Bahria town was the guest. But now this interview becomes a hot topic, not because of Malik Riaz but due to the off-air conservation.
Someone upload the off-air discussion of both the anchors and Malik Riaz on you-tube, which created a trouble for both ,, and also for Dunya T.V. The owner of Dunya T.V. is , (Former mayor of Lahore). ,. claimed that it was a big conspiracy against their channel. The opponents are afraid of the popularity of their channel, because their channel is number 1 since last few days, and ranking of their channel is number 1. The video can be seen on YouTube with the title, “Malik Riaz Planted Interview with Meher Bukhari and Mubasher Lucman on Dunya TV”.
In the off-air talk it was seen that it has already been decided that what question should the anchor ask from Malik Riaz, and they also gave advice to Malik that you should say this when we ask that question. It was totally pre-planned show, and against judiciary. Mubasher Lucman demanded a plot for himself. He said to Malik that you gave a plot to Hamid Mir then why he is against of you? He also said that he wanted to take the name of Hamid Mir, while Malik Riaz did not give him permission for doing that. In the break there is also a phone call of Abdul Qadir Jillani (Son of Prime Minister ,), Lucman told the son of P.M. that Malik is not letting him to call the name of Hamid Mir (anchor of Capital Talk), he also gave the mobile to Malik so that he can talk to Abdul Qadir Jillani. Maryam Nawaz (Daughter of Former Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif) also messaged to Meher Bukhari that she clarifies the issue of Bulletproof Car from Malik Riaz that Hamza Shahbaz did not accept the offer which was offered by owner of Bahria Town Malik Riaz.
There was a time when Mubasher leave the table on the issue that Meher take more time on asking the question, m, says he is crying like a child. There is a rumor that Malik gave 25 Lakh for this interview. Mubasher also demanded a “Villa” for himself.
